Welcome to the Letters Project

As a songstress and novice poet Deandra honours the vulnerability that can happen with paper and pen. With the release of her debut EP "Letters" she started to collect anonymous letters from willing audience members at each of her shows. These letters could be addressed to anyone or no one at all with the intent that they would be shared in some medium.

The anonymous submissions were striking, heartfelt and ached to be shared. With the submissions and the help of a local graphic artist she has released a zine with the intention that they make their way into our experience, and with that, back out into the world. Her Letters project is about holding space in community for expression, vulnerability and realness.
